PRIMARY POINTS:

The LGBTQ+ Community will receive the same support and legal protections as any other citizen.

DETAILED SOLUTIONS:

The following are a combination of my ideas and solutions created through discussions with members of the LGBTQ+ Community, Advocacy Agencies and conversations with average citizens of the 117th Assembly District.

The ideas and solutions discussed here are not final and will always be fluid and will change with the needs of the people of this district before the needs and wants of political parties.

The LGBTQ+ Community is a growing part of the North Country and Northern New York population. Without placing greater importance on any one group of people, the LGBTQ+ Community needs reassurance that their individual rights will not be interfered with by the State or Federal Governments.

Our government needs to ensure that the LGBTQ+ Community is treated fairly and equally, no better or no worse than any other group of citizens, PERIOD. Equality, Equity, and fair treatment are important and should be in the forefront of our movement forward.
